Mark Saulnier

Vice President - Canadian Operations & Quality Management

In addition to being the manager for Canadian operations, Mark is also responsible for overall quality systems for WestCoast B.O.P. from 2005 to 2006 & 2007 to present, Mr. Saulnier has been the operations manager for Blowout Control Tools, Inc (BCT) a Red Deer, Alberta based company. His duties would include assisting in the design of variations of (BCT) float valves, writing technical reports with respect to performance, 3-D solid modeling and engineering prints, procurement, technical sales, writing quality control procedures, equipment coordination through the order desk, ect.

Prior to rejoining (BCT) in 2007, Mr. Saulnier was part of the management team with AERO Rentals a newly created division of IROC Energy Services. His duties would include, assisting in the execution of the company business plan, source out and implement suitable inventory management tracking software to accommodate 3 separate warehouse locations, 3-D solid models and engineering prints for equipment being built, procurement of inventory, writing safe operation procedures and work as an equipment coordinator through the order desk.

From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Saulnier worked as a service technician for Weatherford (formally Energy Rentals) working on various oilfield related equipment including blowout preventers, hydraulic accumulators, choke manifolds , ect. His responsibilities as field operator included, assisting with the installation of secondary well control systems including various BOP stack configurations on both drilling and service rigs, choke manifolds, flare tanks, degassers, accumulators, ect.

Mark Saulnier graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology in May 2005 and is a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) with The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).
